Wait a second...
I've been skimming over recent posts and... er...

You guys are SERIOUS?

I'm a Republican and I'd vote for her and I joined this community because I thought the concept was amusing but, speaking as someone who's done some serious work in politics, there's no way in hell that she's ever going to run for president. Hmm... maybe "ever" is a bit harsh, but she just doesn't have the demeanor, and a dozen other reasons.

She'll run for senate, beat the shit out of Barbara Boxer, and make a tidy Republican stronghold in California. But aside from that... no. She's not going to run against Hillary, and if she does, then I'll gouge my eyes out because, no offense, that would have to be the dumbest move EVER for the Republican party.

Let me rephrase: the reason why you hear all this Condi/Hillary presidential crap is because the liberal media WANTS us to make a dumb move like that. We won't, and any wishful thinking in that area can only hurt us (and her!) in the long run.

Yes, Condi Rice in 2008!
Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice in 2008 may the the only hope for the GOP to defeat Senator Hillary Clinton. The war with al Qaeda will continue to be a huge concern in the United States and Secretary of State Rice certainly has the credentials to romp over Senator Clinton in that area and all of foreign policy.

With a solid conservative governor, for example Tim Pawlenty of Minnesota, as her running mate to shore up her positions on domestic issues, I see no reason why a Rice/Pawlenty ticket wouldn't defeat a Clinton/Bayh ticket or a Clinton/Obama ticket in 2008.

This conservative Republican says, "Run, Condi, Run!"

Re: Yes, Condi Rice in 2008!
Perhaps I didn't phrase it correctly:

There's no reasonable reason why she isn't qualified to run this country. However, politically she's just not a viable candidate. She doesn't look/sound/act like a president. Furthermore, she hasn't had nearly enough time in the spotlight. Yes, there's 4 years for that... but let me tell you that it takes more than a high-level appointment in two presidential terms (plus a few cookies beforehand) to make a new president. Hell... SHE'S NEVER EVEN BEEN ELECTED TO POLITICAL OFFICE BEFORE!!! I don't mean to be rude, but thinking that she's going to be our next president is a naivete that I thought was limited only to the clueless leftist pundits in the MSM.

She's got an awesomely incisive wit and a hard-headed cynical attitude that will make her an awesome senator... but in order to be a president you have to go for the Grandpa/Grandma look. Colin Powell could pull off grandpa, but I sure as hell don't see Condoleeza fucking Rice playing anyone's sweet old grandma.

Im sorry, its not gonna happen, leastly not yet.
I respect the hell out of condi rice, although i completely disagree with her political affiliations, shes a role model for young women everywhere, and shes proven that you can beat the glass ceiling if you work hard. Shes a lot more qualified to be president than Bush is, but then again, thats not hard.. heehehe.

Well knocking Boxer out would be nice, too. I fucking HATE Boxer. There is no politician who holds office I hate more than Boxer.
